Under the authority of the Project Manager, the Site Coordinator’s main responsibilities are to coordinate the work related to his activity and to ensure that permits are obtained. More specifically, the Construction Coordinator – Installation acts as an expert in the installation of turbines and the various steps involved.
• With the assistance of the Project Manager, prepare the contracts required for the execution and control of the works for subcontractors, suppliers and consultants
• Assist the Superintendent in the coordination of assembly activities
• Confirm and coordinate technical requirements with field teams and contractors
• Validate the progress of the installation work and produce a periodic follow-up report
• Coordinate installations in collaboration with the Superintendent of Facilities, site engineers, subcontractors, municipal and regional representatives, and the developer/client representative
• Develop and implement the quality control program for the installation work and ensure that all items have been documented and followed up
• Coordinate inspections to verify the conformity of the work
• Ensure the application of technical procedures to work carried out in collaboration with the project engineer
• Follow up on the purchases, receipt and inventory of materials required to carry out the work
• Actively participate in the implementation of the prevention program and support the Prevention Officer with regard to the requirements and implementation of traffic control in collaboration with the Superintendents
• Finalize the transfer of all turbines to the Proponent/Customer and ensure that all items on its Punchlist are crossed off and signed by the Supplier or Proponent/Customer;

This role could be for you if you have

• Bachelor's degree in mechanics;
• 5 to 10 years of experience in similar roles;
• Proficiency in the Office suite and computer tools;
• Excellent communication skills in French and English, both oral and written;
• Great geographical mobility and availability according to the site's working hours;
• Excellent team management and conflict resolution skills;
• Autonomy and leadership;
• Great administrative rigour;
• Knowledge of turbines and manufacturers.
